Following my recent Dec 31 2010 post Free Web Hosting - Curse or Blessing ? , you might have noticed that I want everything FREE if possible.
I talk about another Free stuff here.
Free Anti-virus software which I currently use.
When I bought Dell computer 7 years ago, Anti-Virus Norton Symantic was preinstalled with 3 months or something free subscription.
Also I knew at that time that FREE AVG software was very popular.
It was listed in a large PC user group’s magazine so I can 100% trust AVG.
But Anti virus software is vital so I decided to subscribe Norton Symantic.
It was my first purchase of my computer 7 years ago and I wanted to play safe.
Now I decided to try Free AVG and am not using paid Norton any more.

Extremely Important Note
The AVG site says “Support Get updates and access to our expert technical support team” is not available for free version.
But UPDATE IS WORKING for this free version so it can handle new virus threats.
